NTEX Security provides commercial live video monitoring across Dallas, Rockwall, Kaufman, Ellis, and Collin Counties. That includes Dallas, Mesquite, Garland, Richardson, Rockwall, Rowlett, Heath, Forney, Terrell, Kaufman, Waxahachie, Midlothian, Ennis, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, and Wylie, along with the surrounding North Texas communities. Since monitoring works through the internet, we can also support sites just outside our typical service area. If your business is in the DFW region and you're not sure if we cover you, send us your address and we'll confirm in a day.
Regular cameras record. Somebody pulls the footage after something happens. Live video monitoring uses AI to detect suspicious activity in real time, sends the event to a trained agent for verification, and triggers an actual response. Talk-down, police dispatch, manager call. The difference is reactive footage versus active prevention.
Often, yes. NTEX Security connects most ONVIF-compatible IP cameras with PoE to our live monitoring platform. We have particular expertise with Ubiquiti UniFi Protect systems — including G4, G5, G6, and AI Series cameras — and we leverage UniFi's own on-device AI video analytics (person detection, vehicle detection, license plate recognition, and facial recognition) as the first layer of our monitoring stack. Other commonly compatible brands include Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Hanwha, Uniview, Bosch, Avigilon, Lorex, Amcrest, and Vivotek. Send a photo of your NVR or one camera label and we will check for free.
Not 24/7 wall-of-monitors style. That is not how modern live monitoring works. AI watches the feeds constantly and only flags events that look like real activity. A live agent then reviews each flagged event in seconds. That combination is far more effective than a human staring at 32 feeds hoping to spot something.
Speak through on-site speakers to address the intruder by description (works in over 95% of cases), trigger floodlights or sirens, call your designated contacts, and dispatch police as a verified, in-progress event. Verified dispatch jumps to the front of the response queue because it is no longer treated as a routine alarm. For sites with commercial access control, agents can also trigger door lockdowns during a verified event to slow or block intruder movement.
It depends on the number of cameras and the hours you need monitored. For most small commercial sites using existing cameras, plans start around the cost of a few weekend guard shifts and scale based on camera count and active hours. We will give you a flat monthly number after the compatibility check, no hidden fees.
No. NTEX live monitoring is month-to-month. Construction sites and project-based clients can also run on shorter terms. If we are not earning your business every month, you should be free to leave.
